2 -to be good in o to be good at?-
Nota d'usoL'espressione to be good significa “essere bravo”. Bisogna però fare attenzione alla preposizione che la segue: in italiano si usa “in”, mentre in inglese la preposizione corretta è at: She's good at maths, è brava in matematica (non She's good in maths). In presenza di un verbo, si utilizza at + forma in -ing: He's good at painting, è bravo a dipingere. Per esprimere il concetto contrario si può usare l'espressione to be bad at, ma normalmente si preferisce adottare la forma negativa: I'm no good at tennis, non sono bravo a tennis.English-Italian dictionary > -to be good in o to be good at?-
